Drumroll Please…

I’ve joined Twitter. I just couldn’t resist. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about lol. I was in no small part inspired by my fellow blogophite Mark A Warmington. Check out his post at http://mawwrites.wordpress.com/2011/06/19/twitter-its-all-about-being-red/.

Is it all just inane drivel or can I find threads of the marvelous amongst the mundane? Hope springs eternal :). Follow me….

    1. Gypsy,

So far, I like it better than Facebook. Give me a minute to figure out why.

I am sure your random tweets are better than the steady stream of drivel that is put forth by nameless others. You are poetic after all 🙂

  1. Welcome to Twitter!

I should apologise nice and early, so you are well and truly prepared:

On Fridays or matchdays you are going to be tempted to unfollow my time-line :D; be warned! :D.

Twitter is what you make it and take from it: either it will be random tweets about nothing; idle chit-chat, or you will engage with someone in topical debate.

  2. I will! (When I make it over there again…) You’ll be wonderful at it!

As a newbie, I just thought I’d let you know that when you click someone else’s profile you can scroll down and read their tweets, and if you’re wondering what the hell most of mine are about– it’ll help to remember that tweets end up on that site backwards. So reading the last tweet of my story first, won’t work. (I couldn’t think of much to say, and I didn’t want to say that I was ‘going to the grocery store’– even if the question is, what are you doing?) 🙂

  3. Welcome to Twitter Land Coco!

You’ll find some interesting commentary on Twitter depending on who you follow, it can really be a useful tool for up to the minute information. I don’t have a twitter wanderlust but I tweet when I’m feeling random or if there is an engaging topic on my timeline.

Based on how well you write and organize your thoughts I’m sure you’ll add some meaningful and thought provoking insights to the twitterverse.

    More Fire,

I love it when you comment...
